Wiper blade

2003 75 Conn new Bosch blades fitted. Driver's side over runs the windscreen surround. HELP PLEASE, very annoying noise when in use.

If you bought the correct size then it should be OK.. Have you checked it against the displaced one? otherwise, you may have connected it wrong. Needs checking.

Agree with John. They should have been supplied as a boxed pair. 550mm and 530mm (22" and 21"). Check that. If that's OK then either you have swapped them so that they are not fitted on the correct side, or you mis-positioned one on its spindle when fitting.

Have you accidently on purpose put passenger blade on drivers side?

Wiper Blade Prob

Thank you for your observations Gentlemen. This blade was replaced during a routine service by a local garage! I have now measured both blades and they are identical - 22 inches. I shall have to replace the driver's side with a 21 inch to cure the problem. Thanks again.

Why don't you just cut off one inch of the rubber itself?

Both blades should be 22" so perhaps the wiper arm needs adjusting on the spindle, might just need to adjust so it sits a bit lower when parked - this should prevent in over-running at the end of the stroke. Might also be worth there nothing worn or slack in the linkage that is allowing over travel.

2x 22" is open to debate. 21" on N/S is more appropriate unless a 22" is rotated a couple of notches anti-clockwise on the spindle to prevent it 'dropping' too low onto the screen trim.

Stop worrying. Just move it on the splines to the correct position.---;););)

Get a pair of 21 inch . Then you have two proper sized sets. 22 & 21.
