The Hijackers Hijack Thread!!......

This is a little bit of fun (that I have unashamably hijacked from a thread...far away..in a dark place...) Now the idea is to carry on a topic but the reply requires a little lateral thinking,no naughty inuendo etc.If it works it could be some fun, I daresay the ALLSEEING MODS will keep an eye...so here goes.If I do the first reply, hopefully you'll get the idea/drift/ett all! P.

podge 6th November 2008 23:43

Here we go then.....
It looks like B.A. and B.A.A are at last sorting out Terminal 5

podge 6th November 2008 23:44

As ever, sounds like a few black sheep to me!

NOCTURNAL 7th November 2008 08:45

Is there really a Crock of Gold at the end of the RAINBOW ? ;)

podge 7th November 2008 10:36

Rainbow eh......thats depends on what sort of Warrior you are.

Dragrad 7th November 2008 15:10

Sounds like a pasture I know about.....

sworks 7th November 2008 19:04

around junction 20 of the M6

tourerfogey 7th November 2008 21:08

Metric didn't fit, must be 1/4" UNF. (or 1/4" BA to go full circle ;) )

stocktake 7th November 2008 21:11

That must be a fraction of the cost

podge 7th November 2008 23:07

At least 2 for the price of 1 would give you a whole number of things to do

Simondi 8th November 2008 07:42

But only if you can find the time

sworks 8th November 2008 07:44

which is 8.44

Tim 8th November 2008 07:56

Which is the time I took my son's girlfriend to the station.

lightpainter 8th November 2008 08:50

And the policeman tested her and confirmed she was over the drink drive limit!

Simondi 8th November 2008 12:05

Whats the chance of that happening?

Dragrad 8th November 2008 15:29

Krakatoa (origin of the phrase "Once in a blue moon")

tourerfogey 8th November 2008 17:31

I did that when I kicked my trolley jack (cracked me toe :D)

Simondi 8th November 2008 17:40

I'm not Jack, you've mistaken me for someone else.

stocktake 8th November 2008 17:42

Volzhskyboy 8th November 2008 19:44

lady zed 8th November 2008 20:18

Simondi 9th November 2008 14:18

I'm sorry this just doesnt read properly

Dragrad 9th November 2008 21:40

Better go to SpecSaver...

podge 9th November 2008 22:44

If they do 2 for the price of 1, surely that would give you double vision

Dragrad 9th November 2008 22:50

I've got that ... CSI on TV, Top Gear on the PC... TOO MUCH INPUT!!

podge 9th November 2008 23:00

Dragrad 10th November 2008 00:02

podge 10th November 2008 23:35

Eat too many and you might look a little PASTIE!!:D....and fancy calling a place Kernow, still they keep the Poles in the Dark.

Dragrad 10th November 2008 23:51

justmicky 15th November 2008 19:53

Mi Amigo, I must have sailed past her on my travels many a time.

podge 15th November 2008 19:59

That old Pirate boat sent out some good signals, and not one May Day.

lady zed 16th November 2008 22:32

May Day? Is that when the morris dancers dance?

stocktake 17th November 2008 06:04

I think you will find that is a very minor event abroad

tourerfogey 17th November 2008 16:31

Scargill was their leader at one time.

podge 17th November 2008 17:43

He had a special mortgage I recall!

stocktake 18th November 2008 19:12

I went to a special school :) it was approved

podge 18th November 2008 20:07

I wondered about that, but in these Modern times such a concern would be Secondary!!

tourerfogey 18th November 2008 21:48

Used to be a broadsheet, but it's a tabloid now, except on Sundays.

podge 18th November 2008 21:51

I'm a bit of a Hammy one myself....and my car is a sort of Claret colour too!!

trebor 19th November 2008 19:48

tourerfogey 20th November 2008 12:18

Just like that 70's belter Gloria Gaynor then

stocktake 20th November 2008 14:00

T.F. Sporting his afro, flares, tank top and platform shoes :D

GERFIX 20th November 2008 14:46

podge 20th November 2008 18:20

podge 20th November 2008 19:54

tourerfogey 20th November 2008 21:49

Ah Delight is dething hanging from my ceiling .

GERFIX 21st November 2008 04:56

podge 21st November 2008 16:21

Nope, just a few Moths...not a Tiger in sight!!

trebor 21st November 2008 16:45

Damn them poachers should be a law against it with such a beautiful creature

stocktake 21st November 2008 16:51

Volzhskyboy 21st November 2008 18:46

Simondi 21st November 2008 23:24

Dragrad 22nd November 2008 00:17

More empty promises..... Bit like marriage!!

stocktake 22nd November 2008 07:03

I remember when I got married, on the left side of the church, all my wifes best friends.
On the right side of the church, all my friends that she liked the best.

I will never understand women, even if I live to be a hundred ( just like this post)

tourerfogey 22nd November 2008 13:30

That came late again this morning too.

GERFIX 22nd November 2008 14:05

tourerfogey 22nd November 2008 18:12

You can rub that on your chest.

stocktake 22nd November 2008 18:18

Thats probably what the pirates on the oil tanker were really after

podge 22nd November 2008 18:24

Why would the pirates rub Vic on their treasure chest then?......I suppose if the radar failed they could disperse the vapours!

tourerfogey 22nd November 2008 19:05

The Vapors:

David Fenton (songwriter, guitarist and vocalist)
Howard Smith (drummer)
Edward Bazalgette (lead guitarist)
Steve Smith (bass guitarist and vocals)

though originally David Fenton (guitar, vocals)
Rob Kemp (guitar)
Mike Hedges (bass, vocals)
Mike Jordon (drums).

:D

trebor 23rd November 2008 07:18

That Steve Smith gets around he is a local plumber where i live

lady zed 23rd November 2008 10:22

There's a real shortage of plumbers, my wee cousin retrained from a mechanic to a plumber and he's making a fortune.

Whats the connection - hadnt Canoe used to play for the Arsenal ?

tourerfogey 24th November 2008 17:20

< Ironically, the original concept of this thread has itself been hijacked... >

podge 27th November 2008 23:25

Desperate Dan and the Banana St Kids did it for me!!

GERFIX 28th November 2008 05:57
