Rover Watch
A friend of mine (not a Club member. as he has an older Rover) has been offered this watch, apparently hardly worn, and complete with its box and certificate etc.. (Battery has expired) Anyone seen one of these, know anything about it, and value ? Any help appreciated.....

I can't see the picture Andrew.

Personally I wouldn't bother, it's just a watch with the word 'ROVER' printed on the face. There's nothing about it that anyone could immediately identify as being associated with the car marque - no badge, no model designation etc.

No pic.-----:shrug::shrug::shrug:

I remember that type of watch was for sale on eBay, up to about a year ago.
They were priced in Euros and were from an ex Rover dealer in Germany, who was clearing their remaining stock. Perhaps, if they checked the box and certificate, it might pinpoint it from Germany? :shrug: |
Could be, I'll ask when I next see him. But if given to dealers in Germany, would they not also be available to dealers in the UK ?
However my original question(s) still stand..... ;-) |
Please take note of my question in post 1..... Thank you;)
