what does "To SN-To 4D321587 CP Type-VIN" mean?

just wondering if the steering rack from my facelift 1.8 that's being scrapped will fit my facelift diesels.

trying to keep parts that I can reuse. Probably keeping parts I'll never use, handbrake lever... really?

The one from your 1800 will be fine for a diesel Ian, and the one you linked to is for a Mk1 < VIN number 4D321587

If your keeping parts make sure you store them correctly as no point keeping the stuff to find it’s all corroded when you go to use them.

I kept a load of stuff from my old zt and most of its now been took to the tip as it’s just taking up room in the sheds.
I won’t make the same mistake with my wife’s zt it’ll all leave on a low loader as I need the room to repair & extend the runway.

wings have had some wax oil added but my gym is looking a bit crowded with the doors etc. Upper rear arms if any good will be shot blasted and painted as will callipers.
I'm hoping the steering column will not be an issue. Seatbelts are in a bedroom drying out as I think they have gotten damp.
stiches, lights etc should not be an issue.

need to do some more cross referencing of part numbers for the errm, I'm not sure what they are called, bits at bottom of front struts that hold everything together.

this is probably more paranoia then anything

swivel hub is what I was looking for
