Rubber to prevent chaffing
 

At the front on both sides of the car the wiring harness goes over a sharpish seam on chassis. Some people have experienced chaffing and electrical problems due to this.

I have some 6 inch lengths of rubber removed from a broken cover on my Tourer that fits the seam.

I have 6 bits, one for each side.

I recently moved house and everything is still packed in boxes.

Can you recall which cover you salvaged these from?

Probably the one above the pollen filter but that is a guess.

get your self a length of this that will do the job, this is what i got age s ago maybe 2011 and used to give it away at the Nano meets or if a bumper was off which was at every meet :D i would just walk past and stick some on the chassis ;)
