I'm not much into photography myself but I understand the very basics and this seems to be pretty well spec'd. She is into movie making and editing so the 720p video capture feature is great for her. Not seen such a high spec camera for anywhere close to this price and such a good brand as well. The reviews are pretty glowing too!

I bought one of those Nikons for my nephews 18th birthday recently. A lovely camera but for the batteries. He uses it for a day and the batteries are gobbled up, so he buys cheap ones. Bear it in mind that most of these Bridge cameras which reply on batteries like Duracell are power hungry. £129 is a good price. It is a tough decision.
