The very first ones were, as the Autocar ZT-T test car was a Y reg. I believe the reg. on this particular car is a factory reg.

Yes "COE" is Factory.

the tourer I recently removed leather seat from was a Yreg connie CDT so yes they are out there.

Despite it saying that the sears are leather, they seem to be Alcantara to me. I note also that the back of the front seats is grey (leather?) unlike the later cars.

My original reg was Y813COE - Anything different about the "Factory" cars

If they where used for press duties they where run down the paint line twice most commonly.

The tourer has been on autotrader for along time, sadly at that money I believe it will stay there.

Always hankered over a Y plate press car, saying that the 04 plate won't be far off with all the earlier, better quality parts it's had fitted! :(
