Complete Hi Line Sat Nav/tv/hifi System **SOLD**

I'm going to be selling a COMPLETE Hi Line SatNav system if anyone is interested. Its going on ebay soon, but feel free to contact me in the meantime..

When I say complete, I mean it. It includes:
  • Head unit/Monitor
  • Steering Wheel control interface & mounting bracket
  • CD Autochanger and mounting bracket for glovebox fitment
  • Navigation Computer/CD drive & mounting bracket
  • Radio Receiver/Amplifier & mounting bracket
  • TV tuner & mounting bracket
  • GPS Aerial (sits on rear parcel shelf)
  • TV Aerial Amplifier (D pillar fit)
  • Radio aerial amplifier (D pillar fit)
  • FULL wiring loom for all the above - this connects to the vehicle via a BMW style connector behind the A/C panel. You might need a BMW-ISO adaptor.
  • All the nuts and bolts
  • Trim panels that protect the boxes fitted in the spare wheel well.
  • Navigation CD (I don't know what version though)

It was all working fine yesterday prior to removal from the donor vehicle.

Will keep someone busy over xmas....but not me - I've got a bathroom to replace and some Quad ESL63s to rebuild :)

Before anyone asks why I'm ditching this lot, I was going to fit it to YP53 but have since got cold feet - mainly because my current system has Ipod & DAB, which I'm not sure I can do without! Seemed like a good idea at the time....

Yes, I'll post some when I get back home (I'm up 't' north at the mo).

You may get more if you sell each item individually on Ebay. If you do then advertise them all individually ending at different times on the same day

What you will get then is inundated with questions :) but you can then negotiate a better price to end all the auctions early or let each item sell separately.

I just happen to be retrofitting Hi-Line in my V8 now so will be doing a (V8 specific) HowTo as I am also moving the CD changer to the boot.

One other thing, with Xmas approaching you won't get the best price (good time if buying though) early spring is the time to sell this stuff

It might be worth giving out an indicative price . .

Now that I'm back home I can post some pics for you.

Before anyone gets cheeky and says that I've got the grubbiest kitchen floor in the land, please note that it is all laid out on my GARAGE floor! :)

Also you may note that, contrary to what the EPC and RAVE suggest, there is no GPS receiver box, just a GPS aerial which plugs straight in to the nav computer/CD thing - this explains the 'spare' black connector.

The Head unit/monitor does not have any marks or scratches on it.

As Keith said, you will probably get loads of questions but here are mine:D
  1. What year and model did the stuff come from?
  2. Is absolutely EVERYTHING included?
  3. Are any of the leads cut due to removal from the previous car?

I may be interested..:drool4:

yp53 30th November 2006 15:25

1. It was advertised as being from a Mk1 04 ZT, but as the car had personalised plates, I can't be sure. I can supply some part nos if that helps.

2. Yes everything is included. The only bits you might need are the odd spade connector to attach the aerial leads to your rear window. Also, you might need an ISO-BMW audio adaptor if your current stereo has ISO connectors. If its a harmony, you'll be Ok.

3. No wires have been cut - except for the rear window spade connectors (which were soldered on)
