After all these years a wet plenum chamber

Driving today i heard the dreaded swooshing of water behind the passenger dash - so opened up the spy hold mod and using an old dipstick to unblock the run off drain - was surprised how long it took to drain clear. Just goes to show always worth a check - luckily my ECM being a petrol one is sealed so no ECM shenanigans.:xmas-smiley-008: However have condensation in my Xenons for the first time in my ownership - on the passenger side wonder if there is some connection?

A circumcision of your drain tube may be necessary! Ouch!

rodded my plenum yesterday, damp but no water but leaves at the bottom.

I think the ECU may need to come out so I can get to the leaves. Leaves, grrr!

Rodded my plenum today, 'just in case'.
It took a whole minute for the resulting flood under the car to stop !
That was a bit of a close shave !!
