Making cut backs :(

Made the derision too take the old girl off the road :(
Insurance and tax cancelled didn't really do this but right now need too focus on my prioritise mainly building up my savings this year.
Money management hasn't always been my strong point I'll be brutally honest I like too spend I like too travel food drink you name it I've done it all and always felt a bit guilty spending so much and thinking NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- I needed that in there.

So taking big cut backs mainly how much fuel I use a week and keeping shows and events too a minimum this year.
It sucks I know but will be worth it in the end.
She's been a great motor and always got me home from the longest trips.
She's done me proud.
I love this damn thing I really do.
Took her for a last drive today just too see if I still want too keep her here.
Do you know what
I can't let this go
its been 30mins already and I'm sad of the fact I can't use it on the road. :(
But who knows what will happen won't bore you worth the details as anything can change I do have ideas on the pipe line, but again wait and see what I'll do.
Still be at some meets in the Vauxhall Astra so will be on road just not in the ford :(

Cheers Bob I'll shall return once more :)

I Spend more on the probe more then anything on fuel simply because I enjoy driving it but looking at the weekly fuel cost I spent around £60 a week £10 pound each way too work at local jobs.

Plus on the long distance jobs in the Astra £45 on diesel, Yeah if your shocked your not the only one.

If I want too reach my £10000 marker which is my objective I going too need too make cut backs.
Plus my dream car which is what I really want more then anything I need too have that extra behind so I can buy in confidents.

She'll be back on the road you can count on that once I reach my target of £10000 before hopefully if all goes well this year I've saved up really well too the this point but there times I want too blow it away on my dream car which is the Ford Granada Mk1 I have been scouting and searching.

But before I do start buying any Granada I need too reach my safety net first.

|Just want too have a that bit extra just too be in the safe zone as you will.

Go for a coupe Dave

Blooming lovely cars, I had a 3.0 Ghia Coupe back in 88 when I was 18 and was only my second car. It was Roman Bronze (brown in other words) and I loved it, until my head was turned by an Astra GTE. Wish I still had the granny though. According to DVLA it still exists, so you never know. :D

Get saving Dave, you know it makes sense!

I've been a fan of the coupe model doesn't have that same look as the saloon one does.

They coupes hold there value far better then then saloons and guaranteed make money off them.

Even the Mk2's now are getting real pricey.

The mk1 is the ultimate of the three that they made.

Pure pedantry on my part, but the Sweeney car was a Consul. And is being/has been restored....

The sweeney did also use a Granada, a silver Mk 1.

I used to own a Romany bronze 3.0 Ghia saloon, the coupes are cool, but I prefer the saloon.
