Aluminium Intercooler

These were all the rage a while back has anyone fitted one and what are your opinions on them worth the money/hassle or not?

Thanks in advance

Captain Crappycrimp.

I had one fitted to Lord Rovers old car, didn't do anything for performance.

Waste of time and money.---:}

No, they don't work, in fact they will make your car very very very slow indeed ;)

As Brian says above they cause problems.

I've seen 3 cars now with these fitted and they cause the performance to drop like a stone.

Great if you like being overtaken by a pushbike ;)

When a good used original intercooler was refitted performance went back to normal.
