Diesel tuning question

Hi

I have seen the Roverron ad and technically lost as I am a novice and not technical at ALL.

However, I just wanted to know from anybody owning a diesel 75/ZT and has since fitted a TU3 etc tuning package is it a real improvement and should I invest?

I own a ZT CDTi+ which I love but just feel it does lack lower end overtaking push and a little slow to respond.

Any independent advice would be really appreciated.

thank you

I'm not a diesel man but from all the reports and write-ups on this forum and others then the answer your looking for is "most definately yes".

I'll let an actual diesel driver fill you in on the details but rest assured, the investment is well worth it. :)

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!

Subtle enough?

Brilliant piece of kit. Cheap, easy to fit and does exactly what Ron says it does. You won't believe you are driving the same car. Being able to tweak the throttle response to your driving style is a definite plus as well compared to some other tuning boxes.

MPG will remain pretty much unaffected if you don't exploit the extra performance too much.

How independent can you be? Once you've fitted one you lose the right to be independent - because you're converted!!!

But if your car is otherwise standard, I'd talk to Ron about which version/product you will need, as IMHO it's not IF you need one, but which.

Also consider other mods discussed on here which will complement Ron's box, many are either free or cheap, and fairly easy to do.

I can recommend Rover Rons Synergy box I fitted to my CDTi Honestly as one of the Best Value for money additions Possible. Magic Improvements, how the Rover/MG should have left the Factory. No more worries for overtaking, more Torque and less frequent down changes with Auto Box also means slight improvement on MPG. Can sometimes be a bit "smoky" from exhaust either try turning it down or clean Valve (Ron will advise). Some cars seem to have no smoke problems at all & only generally on heavy Acceleration!

Wow thanks guys

Again, I can not only see why I purchased and love my ZT, but so glad I joined this club!!

You guys are the best!, I will be in touch with Ron ASAP. I amlready converted.

Thank you, once again

You wont regret purchasing Ron's tuning products.

As to what is achievable from you derv, check out this thread http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=4069

According to the mail sent to SWMBO yesterday, one of Ron's Synergy boxes will be winging it's way down to me in the next few days! Really looking forward to trying it out.

The general consensus from CDTi owners is that a Ron box is a must-have, so I was convinced from the sheer volume of happy customers/positive reports.

Yeah.....I keep meaning to get one of Rover Ron's tuning boxes, but I probably wouldn't know how to fit it....I can't even get into the plenum drains.
Ron has offered to fit it for me....but I just don't have a minute to spare at the moment....I'll need to make time....Seems I'm missing out, big time.

Allow me to add my recommendation as well
