Google chrome not saving passwords
 

I have windows 7 and Google chrome, I've done something but I don't know what and now Google Chrome wont save passwords and auto sign in.

Can you give me a step by step guide on things to check.
I have checked the settings and ask about saving passwords is turned on

I may have fixed this after hours hunting on the net.

chrome was set to delete cookies when leaving web site

Cookies and passwords are not the same, both tend to have their own tickbox for deleting be it manual or auto. Ok to have cookies auto deleted but make sure that passwords are not ticked or included for this purpose.
