http://rover.williams-knights.com/re...indowSmash.jpg http://rover.williams-knights.com/re...ndowSmash2.jpg http://rover.williams-knights.com/re...ndowSmash3.jpg The car was parked outside my home under a streetlight and I was about 20ft away. Glass smashed, PDA and bracket gone, Door scratched. SOCO have been here and there are no fingerprints. Oh! and the insurance company cannot get anyone here until next weekend. They told me to secure the car. I said "How? Will a binbag and cardboard suffice?". Answer "No". It needs to be secured but they cannot tell me how. Great day today. |
mindless local pondlife..
could you source the glass and have the invoice sent to your insurance company?they told you to secure the car. |

Corin (Messenger) has been kind enough to offer me some glass. I'll call the insurance company in the morning and see if they'll allow me to use his services fro the replacement. If so I can put some buiness his way. :} I'll still have to get the door scratches seen too. I'll get a better idea when I see the door in the daylight. |

It's autoglass that cannot get here until Saturday. aparently it's one of the busiest times of the year for them. I have to wait until tomorrow to talk to head office if I want anyone else to work on the car before hand. |

I don't have volumetric alarms so no.. It was quiet. I live in a terraced house so no garage and the local council ones are to small. |

hope you sort it with out any problems from the insurance steven.. does your policy cover you for vandelisum? i had a nissa blue birds window smashed and a 2000 watt amp and bass box nicked so i put up a camera at the house window incase they came back for all the stuff i had in th boot ... and the alpine radio and stuff... never ben back i guess they haqve a good look round see the camera and leave mine alone ,its a thought i guess for you to do for future protection ..hope all goes well mate ..they need a good kicking people like that ... |
Sorry to see this, utterly frustrating! Last week a colleague had his 3-series coupe's tyres punctured and a deep gouge running up all three panels and onot the bonnet. Random attack as it happened to other cars nearby the same night. Tyres (which are run flats) not covered by insurance and bodywork not worth claiming for, so all in all it will be setting him back £1100...
