Front door won’t open

She knew she was going off the road, must have. Just a month the diesel has been on the road, she’s ok, but the V6 Connie has thrown a tantrum..... or two. Can not open the front passenger door, not even by the inside handle. Tried a reset today by disconnecting the battery, but still no joy.And now the drivers door will not open on the fob. It will open if I get in the back seat and reach over and pull the handle twice. Anyone got any ideas what it might be? It’s a good job it is off the road.

Hi Dave.
The passenger door could be the hook as broken, or the white clip as slipped out of range on the the thread, if the later it's a door card off job, if hook then it's just removing the handle and checking, ask me for a connector at the meet.

Drivers door sounds like the lock as gone down, do you have a spare fob have you tried that, or maybe battery in the fob ?

Hi Steve. Thanks for suggestions. The passenger front door started playing up, so thought it was prob the actuator. Tried to get it out but had to give up because of time.Locked ok after. Tried to open it the next day, and the drivers door will not open on the fob, but can open it if I open back door and pull the handle twice on the drivers side, but, the passenger door does not open whichever way you try.i wondered how the actuators were wired? I have not tried to use the key to open the drivers door so will give it a try tomorrow. Any ideas how to open the passenger side door? I wonder if I take the battery out of the fob , and then replace it back in, and give it the same treatment for synchronising the fob and alarm, it might work? Good job it’s off the road. Yes, we will be at the meet Saturday, so see you there. I have also had the battery off for an hour hoping it may reset, but no joy. The hook was off, the button was in the bottom of the door, but I fixed that ok. Both fobs are working ok. You can actually hear the locks locking and unlocking. Will see what happens tomorrow. I am at Johns on Friday having a look at his auxiliary belt and aircon belt.We usually change his and mine together, but mine has been garaged for two years so mine has only had two years use out of four.We always change them at four years.
