Not even a note to say sorry
I came out to my car to find someone with either a van or 4x4 has hit my rear bumper (Assuming larger vehicle as its high up on the chrome), not too much damage the bumper will need replacing at some point which I was going to do anyway due to a few scratches just not as soon, its not too noticeable till you look from the side which is probably why I missed it the first time round as I doubt it would have been done outside my house probably on the school run, they didn't even leave a sorry note , Poor Midas, wish I could afford to run a 3rd car as I would have an old banger for these trips and not ruin my Rovers, sorry for the rant but it is annoying:rant:.
Hope everyone else is having a better day x |
It’s awful when that happens, common decency is a fading thing I’m afraid, what colour bumper are you looking for someone here might have one?

Its white gold, I have one in the garden, but if its in better nick than mine after being used as a garden ornament for the last 3 years is yet to be seen.

People don't want to pay for the damage they cause, they don't care about other peoples possessions and property.
I can only imagine how sick and angry you must feel. macafee2 |

A few months ago I watched a 4x4 reverse into a Mini, the rear light was smashed and there was some damage to the bodywork. The driver got out had a look, she brushed her car and drove off. I took a picture of her car and number plate and put a note under the wiper. I had a phone call that evening thanking me and apparently the police were looking into it.
The owner of the Mini has contacted me again since and apparently the driver of the 4 x 4 has since been prosecuted for no insurance. Luckily her insurance has sorted it out. We all have phones with cameras, it takes a few mins and maybe it will help someone. |
