Cdti lower engine mount
 
I am going to change my 75 cdti lower engine mount as there is vibrations from that area do you need to support engine while changing it is it just the 2 bolts holding in place .

Matthew,
You don’t need to support the engine to replace the lower engine mount.
It can be done by just jacking the front end up, and supported on axle stands, but easier if you have the car level by having both ends supported on axle stands, or raised by a 2 post lift or similar. There are only 2 bolts to remove (for a diesel).

Hi Matthew.
Make sure the the gears are in neutral, in manual or Auto when you remove the mount and fit it back ;)
