Light bulb...

Forgot other issue, how does one replace a headlight bulb from the passenger side without dismantling the front of the car or losing the skin and fingers of your hand?

Bill,

Look in the wheel arch, there is a small inspection panel to remove. This then gives acces to the rear of the bulb.

( your still going to lose some skin old bean):icon_razz:

Thanks very much - atleast I'll keep my fingers!

Will now invest in a Haynes manual...

I've just been out in the cold to change my main beam bulbs for Philips X-Treme units.

WOW What a difference.
They cost me £19.99 + £1.99 delivery here The seller was a bit slow on delivery but they are great bulbs.

The buld change would have taken about 10 mins if it wasn't for dropping a bulb onto the undertray. :Snow:

It's quite simple and you don't need to take the wheel off or anything. You can easily reach in with your hands and unclip them. The hardest part was replacing the rubber cover afterwards. The drivers side was a real pain.
