Checking to see if your old cars alive...
This morning I did something I said I wouldn't.
I checked to see if my old car was still alive via the .gov tax checker I was greeted by this... 'Vehicle details could not be found Vehicle details could not be found as it has not been possible to locate the vehicle details, your enquiry cannot proceed and has been cancelled.' She was a MKI ZR TD.At point of sale 9 months ago she had 96k on the clock. Ran perfect as to be expected of a well services L series at that mileage. Brand new wings (they rust). MKII rear end with matching skirts (repainted a year ago). Car was in good nick. So. What does this mean? It's off the road? Plates changed? I'd be gutted if she'd been scrapped/broken. |
All my vehicles from the year dot come up, except ones that had a registration number change.
I think that it might be that. |

Only reason I did it was because my reg changed last night so I was checking it had all gone through ok. Fingers crossed she'll surface somewhere :) |
Did you choose MG as the make or rover?

it may be due to a reg change, my dads old 620SDI which was scrapped nearly 10 years ago still shows up on the tax and mot check :) Just says no tax or mot since x date :)
|
just checked mine under my old reg as I've just recently registered my private plate and got the same message as you. Looks like someone may have treated your old ZR to a private reg :)

What's your new plate, I think it's fairly similar to mine which is... R19PE J (My names James Rippe so it's like like Rippe J) |

Yeah yours is quite close, mines R19 KMG, so like Rick MG :) |
