It always seemed inexplicable to me that instead of cancelling 'project drive' and focusing on the quality of its range and developing new mass market models, the company chose to blow money on such irrelevancies as the SV. To build and try to sell that, whilst simultaneously removing the bolt covers off the seatbelt mounts for being too expensive just seems utter madness.

^Agreed! And it wasn't as if Qvale was a successful builder; the donor car; the Mangusta was terrible; and ugly! And they wondered why the then gov't didn't bail them out. A terrible shame.
