BMW Digital / Hybrid Tuner Repair

I'm not sure if anyone has either come across this issue before, or, knows of anyone who might be able to perform a repair, but I have a BMW Hybrid TV Tuner (one which receives digital signal) in need of some TLC.

It powers on, and produces an image, however it cuts out / restarts every 10 seconds or so. I'm hoping there is a nice easy "resolder these joints" fix, but if not, does anyone know of any person / business who specialises in repairing these units? I have a water damaged item which may be good for yielding spare components, but I'm no expert. I've taken a brief look inside, no water damage or anything, so I'm hoping it can be saved.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Cheers!

If someone can repair it, that would be great, hopefully I might get a few more suggestions to investigate too!

Was that a pair from ebay?

Mine was intermittent too, If you follow the 12v in from the plug it goes to a 5v reg, via a switch (solid state) that was my problem. I never did find anyone who would repair them, offer a schematic or help, just people who wanted to sell digi box conversions.
