My last ZT Cat C write off is back on the road!

Hi all,
Some of you may remember my last rare colour ZT which I wrote off last Oct, well I just checked on DVLA web site and the cat C has been lifted and its been MOTed and taxed.
I just hope its been repaired right as it had roof and sill damage.

Has anyone seen it or know of it?

Be interesting to know how much it cost to put back on the road , all that work won't have been cheap .

I'm glad it's been saved - although I haven't heard anything since I saw it was written off. Will keep an eye on the Facebook groups - I'm sure it'll be with an enthusiast.

Yes I think it must be an enthusiast as it sold for more that it's £700 reserve at Copart.

I just can't see how it was worth it-
Reserve £700 min, then it would need front and rear bumpers, door, repair to sill, roof, rear wing, door post, rear suspension and then a repaint!

Just goes to show how valuable our cars are becoming these days...

I mean no disrespect - but I cannot see how the figures stacked up to make a repair worthwhile.

A monogram 190 is nice - but I'm sure you could have a choice of cars for £1500. If you add in a new bumper, door & paint (I'm ignoring the B-pillar here!) would you really get change from £800?

I did say....

It was a bargain car for someone in the know...A very cheap repair for a very nice car. I'd have mended it for less than £150 for myself...
It might be yours again someday...

Good to hear that it's still alive and back on the road.

Don't say that! If it came up for sale I don't think I could control my myself.
