Rodding the sunroof drains from the top

Front ones are easy, but can the rears be done without removing the sunroof?

I always Rod the rear tubes from the boot upwards, it’s far easier.

Oh. Bit fiddly with the tourer, but needs must. Cheers.

What item are you using as a ‘rod’ to get through the drains? Should really do mine!

"Rodding"

May I suggest that in the case of the sunroof drains, using a rodding implement runs the risk of creating a leak where there are joints* in the tube.
With your garden hose set to the single jet position, and the pressure regulated to a reasonable level, this will be sufficient to release any organic matter which would normally prevent drainage by gravity alone.

* Arctic has posted photographs to show this arrangement at the front tubes.

I use a flexible sink unblocking spring, a length of net curtain wire is also a good tool for this job.

I agree best for the job curtain wire from either end works well, but make sure you put a small domed screw in the end to stop any snagging while passing through the tubes.

Excellent hints, Thanks!
One question, how long a piece of curtain wire would be needed for a tourer?

But two meters and that should do the job nicely, as already stated put a domed screw in the end to stop any snagging. ;)
