Tempted to Scrap.

Well I have a dilemma at the present time. My Father in Law borrowed the car this week while his was in the body shop and he has informed me of a problem.

Apparently there is a spider the size of his fist living somewhere in the interior trim.

I really might scrap the car rather than get in it again 🤣🤣🤣

I think that might be a wise decision. Probably the only reason I can think of to ever get rid of a '75 or ZT. :frightened:

Once the car has been crushed, make sure you set fire to the remains just to be sure :}.

Don't leave the keys in the ignition or the spider might nick it!

We live in what used to be my parent's house. When we moved here I went into the loft to give it a clean prior to storing stuff up there. It was like a Hammer film set, cobwebs everywhere then a I was confronted by a huge spider, I'll swear it was sitting growling at me. Thankfully it moved on somewhere without me having to use a tranquilliser dart :D

I had a P6 once that had a resident spider, it would come out of the gearbox tunnel area at speeds above 60 ish, it was my live speed warning device :D

I have resident spiders living inside the mirror housing on both cars. They seem to favour the V8 for some reason. Wish they would contribute towards the fuel bill.

Just make sure when you lock to car, that there is no internet connection available. The spider will leave as it can't get on the web!

My sister once jumped out of her car/caravan combo whilst reversing into a park due to a spider. The car was an auto and it continued backwards until my dad managed to jump in and stop it!:duh:

Don't get rid of them! I ended up with a fly infestation after hoovering the spiders and webs off the beams - it was quite disconcerting to be enveloped by a swarm of blue bottles every time I tried to source a demijohn for my home plonky

Ah, that's because you left the lights on; turn them off, no beams therefore no flies.

No!

When I was 11 years old my family moved house, we moved to a place with a garden and a shed, the shed was fairly gloomy inside with a small window to light it up. It was the Summer of 76 and I walked into the shed, I was tall then and I walked right through a spider web that was full of baby spiders, they were in my ears and nose and crawling all over my face. It's left me with a bit of a problem with spiders.
