Rover 25 GTi
I'm not selling it, but Nick at Austin Garages knows of a Rover 25 Gti which he says is a really special car that needs an appreciative owner.:)
Apparently it is a very rare Rover 25 Gti with only 8K miles on the clock. It has every conceivable extra, he's known and serviced the car from new and it has a very special paint/interior trim combination.:drool4: I think he said it had never been used in the wet! Car is being sold by the original owner with full service history, and price guide is somewhere around £4K. If it is of interest to anyone, speak to Nick on + 44 (0) 1283 528181 |

Certainly sounds nice. If it's anything like the old Vi then it'll be a wheeze!:drool4:

I think I've mentioned before on here that my Vi was probably my own favourite car ever for out and out performance - and economy. With an [controvertial] Ecotek valve fitted, I was getting about 30-32mpg on the same commute I do these days and I'm currently getting 33-34mpg with the CDTi!!! Different cars totally, I know, but it goes to show, you can have performance AND economy with a petrol car too!;) |
Here is the car, and some comments about it.
http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...cc6a1c25af.jpg This is a Monogram Prototype. It was originaly Wedgewood blue with ash grey half leather interior. When new, MG Rover used it to prototype Mirage supertalic paint (£1800 option) and the interior is very special too: Suede light and dark blue with orange piping on wearing surfaces with sandstone biege sides, door trims and steering wheel to match. It also features light pine wood inserts on the dashboard and door pulls. Sadly, the interior never made it into production. It also has optional rear electric windows and 6 disc CD player. 18 months later it was sold via an MG Rover auction to a main dealer with only 180 miles recorded. Last owner on the V5 is Kevin Howe! (one of the phoenix 4!) For any further information contact Nick. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...cc6a1c25af.jpg |
