Tyres, any recommendations?

Hi, just after any recommendations for tyres, a part of me wants budget tyres as I really do not push the car hard at all and they are less than half price.

However I'm open to all suggestions and I realise budget tyres are inferior to brand makes.

Thanks for any input

what ever you buy, buy quality.
I have Dunlop SP sport but I'm not sure you can get them in your size

As a mid rage tyre I fit Nexen N8000. I cant fault them in the wet or dry.

I haver tried many tyres on Rover 75s but prefer Avons on the 17inch wheels, I think the latest are Avon ZX7. I use Continentals on 16inch wheels for winter as they seem to be rated highly and are easier to get.

I am using TOYO's, good price and run silently with a good grip factor and wear. Also use them on my MG TF as well and have proved very good. Best of luck with your choice as everyone will have a chosen make of tyre I am sure.

The tyres of choice for members are wide and varied. My personal favourite......Dunlop Blue Response, mainly because they're quiet.

Before buying mine I read heaps of reviews and tests.

I have Falken ZE914 Tyres on my ZT-T and I find them a very good tyre for the money.

I have had Autogrip tyres on a 75 I used to own when I bought it, I found they had next to no grip in the wet and I replaced them with a set of Falken Tyres which were a massive improvement.

My ZT-T was originally fitted with Jinyu tyres when I bought my ZT-T, I replaced these with a set of Falken Tyres and I could really tell the difference.

I bought a set of Avons while on holiday in Wales last year - £220 all in which I reckon was good for branded tyres even if they're made elsewhere now. Seem to be wearing well, not quite as soft as the blue response.
