Just found this and thought that some may find it useful?

Cheap and cheerful, probably you can hold your breath longer than they will stay fixed.
But at that price maybe worth a try. Kev. |
They fit fine if tightened and handled correctly. Unfortunately, many garages have no idea how to fasten turnbuckles and bust the lock. The screws then vibrate and drop away.

I bought a pack as a replacement for 1 failed one and spares. It took a bit of fettling to get into place, but worked fine.
One issue I found, was using a Philips driver for the originals and a flat driver for the new one. |
I think other members have used these, I have a set and they seem good

Oh, and of course grounding the undertray by driving too fast over speed humps will help to loosen and damage any fitting. Simon |

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F391946113817 I found a standard flat blade screwdriver really chews them up. I welded a thick washer in to the end of a socket then ground it down to match the profile of the slot, but you can buy a ready made one like this. The slotted ones always seem to be cheaper than the crosspoint ones. |
Got these take a little longer to do but safer i think...:D
