Thank you Stocktake!

Many thanks to our Stocktake for bringing and fitting a couple of his specially reinforced VIS motors and just in time for the MoT! In return, I had warmed the engine up and got the traction control unit out of the way beforehand. We had a chat a metre or so apart and mugs of tea to warm us up a bit. It's great to know people like David; helpful, knowledgeable and skilled. Thanks again!

One of the good ones on the planet, always willing to help if he can, i have gained a lot of knowledge from Dave at our Nano meets

It was nice to have a real face to face conversation with somebody David. It was only possible as your place is on the way to the supermarket. I have been doing my neighbors shopping since March last year (twice a week) as they are both over 75 and shielding.
Really appreciated the fact you removed the TC unit before hand  The bottom nut is an absolute pain ( if it's there ;) )

That’s what the club is all about, helping one and other out. Well done Dave.

He once sent me two replacement Vis Motors on trust that I would send my old ones back, many thanks Dave.

Hmm; that bottom nut:duh: Anyway, car passed its MoT with flying colours! Only advisory was a'slightly' binding brake on the nearside front wheel. Not sure what they consider 'slightly' in that regard, but by the time I got home, the whole brake assembly was burning hot!! Had the same problem on a rear wheel a few years back, again in winter. Getting it fixed on Tuesday (weather permitting). Thanks again David!

Always best to stick one of these to the side of the socket when fitting the bottom nut, or a little bit of blu tack, or sellotape rolled over.
