Unable to open passenger door from inside
Hi. I can’t seem to open my front passenger side door from inside the car but opens fine on the outside (Rover 75 mk2 1.8 turbo). What would be the issue? Thanks.

Remove the internal handle and see if the Chinese metal hook as broken, if so replace or repair.
You can use some wire & a choc block also. |

You are correct there ;) so it is most likely the white clip on the thread its stripped the plastic thread, or needs adjusting, once adjusted put a cable tie round the clip. https://i.imgur.com/h9KUCQJl.jpg1 https://i.imgur.com/pain6WVl.jpg2 PS Mick a PM coming your way ;) |
Yeah I think cable ties are the best way to go, I often put two around it, however once I noticed when stripping a car down that somebody had used a Velcro strap on it, I guess that’s a different approach and it also appeared to work.
