FBH controller gsm wiring

I’m just about to start the fit, quick question if I have this type of oem controller do I still need to run a wire to the FBH itself or tap into this loom?

Just tap into the harness from the timer.

I have not wired one to the existing timer but if it doesn't work note that the timer is just sending a signal to the relay near the fuse box and it is that relay which is directly connected to pin 3 of the FBH for the remote switch on and is connected to pin 4 of the FBH for your cabin heater to switch on as part of the process.

Please report back with your findings when you do the install

Paused it for now, turns out the phone I’ve bought only has one output...

That doesn’t matter, it’s just a signal! You can use it to switch on the fbh and the heaters, I did this on Debs ztt.

Ahhh. So can I run a feed to the cubby, put it all in there, run it to the FBH controller and leave the existing auto on to the climate panel? I noticed today if I leave the climate on auto it regulates the blower until there is sufficient water temp.
