Did Tom Barnaby sell George Bullard his 75?

I was watching an old episode of Midsomer Murders the other day (one of the later ones with the horrible smirky man that was the randy gardener in one of the earlier episodes) and noticed that George Bullard was driving a black Mk 1 75. Is this Tom Barnaby's old one or did he always have it?
