Can you fit a front door into a tourer load space ?
As the message states , has anyone fitted a front door into the rear of a tourer for transporting. I’ve measured the door height at just under 45 inches and the diagonal width of the tailgate opening at around 45 inches. I have been offered a door in the correct colour but it is going to be over 500 miles as a round trip and I don’t really want to be swapping over doors on arrival as I’d like to strip the parts out of my old door to keep as spares before disposing of it.

Thank you 😊 I’ve got some old dust sheets in the garage that will be just the job.

yes I managed to get 2 front doors, a wing and a bumper in the back of a tourer once ;)

A bonnet also fits nicely in the back of a tourer!

Brilliant! I could build another tourer with the parts I seem to be able to fit inside !
