Tayna Batteries

Hi all,

Ordered an "096" E38 Varta Silver Dynamic Car Battery 74Ah on Monday 12th Oct.

Delivered to my door less than 24 hours later on standard delivery.

It spins my diesel tourer over instantly and quickly ;).

They'll be getting more of my business whenever I need a battery.

Mine came in two days. But then I am in NI. It took forever to unpack too lol. Was a brilliant service, when I need another battery, they will be getting my business.

Same here, I ordered late afternoon on the Friday I think it was, and it arrived Saturday morning.

I got one from them (Bosch) for my wife's Polo. Came the following day and has been fine and at a good price.;)

Hi Andy
Any reason you did not go with the Varta E44 / little bit cheaper and more power.

Oh fiddlesticks,

I thought there was another one but didn't spot it.

The one that's on seems more than up to the job. And has the 5 year warranty.

Hi Andy. Got mine, Yuasa 3000, from GSF on the old Dunlop Estate at Castle Bromwich. Four year guarantee. £68. First one was duff as you have probably read, but no problem getting it replaced.

JNK Components in Ballymena are local Varta dealers. I'm about to collect a new battery for my freelander a fair bit cheaper than Tayna can do it.

Hi, Steve. I followed the lead you gave and had a look in at the Tayna site. The prices seem fair and the guarantees very good.

Some of the information they gave about not leaving a battery in a discharged state was not correct.

I sent them an E-Mail. I wonder if they might correct their errors.-;)--Time will tell.

PS. I did this sort of thing with another battery company a few years back. Their chemical processes ( formulae ) were wrong.--They kindly sent me an E-Mail saying --Thanks--and corrected their mistake.

If you'd let me know I could have given you a completely dead Yuasa 3000 that came from near Malvern :D:D.
