How many us on here have had their rover from brand new?

Whilst i was in the moon mileage section i got thinking how many of the car enthusiasts of these Rovers/MGs have had them from brand new? and still have it?

i wonder..................?

Well I have a one owner from new BRG 1.8 Club, 16,500 miles.:cool:

I'm the second owner, but haven't used it yet:o

I got my ZTT brand new from an official dealer in October 2005 and still got it.
From the same dealer I got my Rover 75 Tourer Connoisseur in 2002, then part exchanged for the ZTT.
Total mileage combined 434000..

Bought mine a year old as an ex-demo with 2000 miles clocked. Does it count?

This must have filled you with faith in the brand, glad to see you stuck with it.

WOW steve you had the airbag warning light on?? From day one?? 😮🤔
Did you get them to sort it out? And if you did, what was there answer to it and what did they say?
I'd love to know what there excuse was lol 😮

JerseySteve 11th October 2018 14:41

No excuse given for the airbag light and it was fixed a couple of days later gaining a cable tie in the process. Was ok for a long time, as in until couple of years ago but came back. Still on the to do list; we don't have MOTs in Jersey:}

phatfiesta75 11th October 2018 14:47

Ahh right well you had a good innings of the airbag staying off for so long 😉 and of course no mots on jersey forgot about that 😁

JerseySteve 11th October 2018 14:55

Unfortunately the MOT in some form may have to come so we are told; something to do with BREXIT of all things:shrug:
