Lewis Hamilton becomes the driver with the most wins, 92. Well done to him, nice track, some entertaining incidents.

He cant be that bad but compared to some of those that have gone before him,
I just don't think he is as good but then you cant win 92 races and be bad.

He is just to pretty for me, I just don't take a shine to him.

Anyway, congratulations to him and the team

IIRC, he could have won at least one more if he hadn’t taken himself out when he shunted another car off the track, to sew up the WDC,

Why not ask how many Senna could have won if he hadn’t died?

We can speculate - how many would Bottas be winning if he had a different teammate?

Can’t we just acknowledge Hamilton’s achievements?

I feel very sorry for Lewis that no mater how many records he smashes some still seem to think he is somehow inferior to those before him:duh:

He can do no more than what he has done. Regardless of how you or I may or may not like his persona, he has proved that in his time he is the best of the best:}

There's no doubt about LH's driving ability, nay, supreme skill, on the track. Helped by a superb car and the backing of seemingly unlimited funds for the Mercedes team, his success is tremendous. His boss says, jokingly of course, they might have to sell the factory to keep him. To win that race by a margin of 25 seconds after falling to 3rd early on is exceptional by any standards.

However, the continued use of the event to publicise and further his immature political objectives is embarrassing and rather stupidly exposes him to public ridicule. It's a shame, and unnecessary in that he is mistaken in his belief that the underlying aims are the same as his own.

Thats the irony of it.
All those years in F1 with all the danger that entails.
Retire from the sport and a year later suffer an horrific accident whilst on holiday!

Do you feel all of the following athletes and teams also have immature objectives and are ridiculed by the public. Maybe it's not them that needs to reconsider their attitude!
