Any ideas :oil on an injector ?

I'm stripping down the kv6 engine at the moment to replace valve stem oil seals , and have come across something perhaps odd :shrug:
After removing the injectors I noticed that the bottom of the injector on cylinder no 5 ( rear end of LH bank ) is wet with oil , as is its seating in the manifold . Photo shows it as best as I can.
The other injectors are quite dry . . Could this be related to my blue smoke on startup problem ? I would add that the exterior of the injector is quite clean and the oil is only down by the bottom O-ring . I may see more when I get the manifold off . I have new O-rings ready to go back on .
Any ideas please ………..:}

It seems only two directions for the oil to come from..

You say the top is clean which only leaves a leaking oil ring at the bottom.--:shrug:

As you say , only two directions ! Either it comes down from the petrol rail, which would affect the other injectors , or it is coming up from the manifold .
But how does that happen ?:shrug:
Very puzzled …………………….

I've decided it could be a build up of "evaporated " petrol residue .Or it could be oil mist coming from the VIS chamber ; turns out the alloy manifolds are coated in an oil mist , but the airways in the head are spotless !
Anyway , nothing to be concerned about …..:getmecoat: :}
