Wow! That's a lot of repairs. |
Unfortunately that's a standard fail sheet on these now. Normally sills as well but that has already been done. New rear arms and the brake pipes have done well to last this long, some showed signs of corrosion after 5 years. Sort these out and get lucky with some front arms that last more than 12 months and you will be happy motoring untill the slave pops.
That's why these cars are fun bangers, keeps you busy keeping them on the road and guessing the next fail. Sent from my Redmi 4A using Tapatalk |

Can you still buy brake pedal pads for these? This is a high mileage in the city issue and will likely become more common as time goes by. Cheers, Glenn |

That was actually driving around  Rev |
I cannot believe a car that has done so little miles from last mot were it only had advisories for droplinks has failed on all that! I think they are being a bit cheeky. The brakes lines could be waxoyl as I had the same with my Toyota. You said a few weeks ago a pre mot elsewhere had come up clean? How come? I feel bad about this in a way, but not in another as numerous garages had her last year and mentioned none of it! If they had it would have been done.

I sense an over zealous tester there .Either that or they are short of work.
