Applying leather dye
 
Now I have some Seat leather dyes from B&W :bowdown: ..


What the best method peeps have found of appyling this stuff ?

only got a few small patches to try to blend in .;)

On a small area maybe a brush.
I've fully done 3 steering wheels and applying with a small sponge looks the best way IMHO. Fine & neat result with 2 layers at least, then an appropriate satin varnish.

Don't forget protective gloves or your fingers could have an interesting shade! ;)

Ended up using this sort of thing sponges on a stick :D


Worked really well especially with 2 colour seats could get right up to the crevices .....ooer missus!!

Bit late , but poundland make up sponges work very well. Dabbing the dye on when doing my steering wheel, worked very well.

An air brush can also work well, good for fading in areas but be very careful of over spray.
