New Exhaust issues

I have just replaced my silencer with a new clamshell one from DMGRS. its much larger than the cheap one on the car when I got it. I brought the correct clamp but it seems to rattle around, and makes a knocking noise is there anyway of sorting this out?

It will need hanging correctly and some stronger rubbers fitting by the sound of things.

Thanks. I'll buy some stronger rubbers, any recommendations?

Hi Andrew,

Once you've selected 'Edit' and 'Delete' on your unwanted post, there's a further question asking you to confirm deletion. By default this question has 'Do not delete message' selected. Maybe this is what went wrong for you. I've been caught out by it more than once. :o

Amazingly the intermediate section looks to be original because it's integrated with the cat front section - 17 years and 167K later after leaving the factory, not bad.
