This allows you to retro fit a double din head unit in a car with satnav & harmon Kardon amplifier, and keep the amplifier in circuit. Just connecting the headunit behind the dashboard disconnects the amp and sub from the circuit. Much better to use this 6 meter long cable

This was used with an Xtrons unit, but see no reason why it cant be used with other headunits with similar connections..
