190 subframe

Good morning: i see that Rimmers have in stock ZT sub frames. Given the different transverse engines (260 apart) would what is advertised fit a 2002 190?

Thanks

Steve

Yes as you say they are all the same across the range except for the 260 so should not have a problem fitting.

Hi: thanks very much for the reply. Doesn't look too difficult a job in the Haynes manual - any tips? I would have access to a two post lift if and when the time comes.

Regards
Steve

It's a fairly straight forward job, hub pinch bolts could give a bit of grief, remove exhaust from manifold and centre rubbers and move to the side, steering rack bolts, and a few little bolts holding ac pipes, I did this on my back on the driveway so using a lift should be even easier!

Are front sub-frames prone to rust or are they being changed due to damage?
