If I'd known in advance, I have a rattle can of Lagoon in the shed - I could have bought it along and made a start for you :D:getmecoat:

Evening all, my apologies for being unable to make today’s meet. Hopefully we will be able to make the next one.

Great to meet up again, albeit with a few notable absentees! :}

Good friendly meeting at Frimley, as always.

Thoughts are with Peter and Sheila for Wednesday's hospital visit.

Many thanks to Andy (trikey) for a very good report on the state of my 2.5 V6 engine; no recorded errors.

This was after identifying my recent ABS problem, the car will be up with him for repair later.

Regards

Sheila's Eye procedure

Hi All,

Thank you again for all your kind comments concerning my Wife Sheila's Eye procedure. We were hoping it would be to do with Cataracts, however, this is the fourth time she has endured chelation of the cornea. In English this means scraping calcium buildup on the eye, including an injection in the eye to mitigate the pain. The procedure took an hour and finished when they were alerted to Sheila's heart rate dropping to 40 BPM.
I dropped her of at 7.20am and collected her at 12.05pm. Shaken but not stirred complete with eye patch, feeling very dopey. She has improved during today and is scheduled to go back for a review in a week.
Glad the meet went well, shame I missed Mike's Norton and the rest of you. Will organise The Ugly Duckling during October maybe on the 24th.

Peter.

Please pass on best wishes to your wife; sounds as if it was more serious than just a normal cataract operation.

Hope to see you at the next meet.
Take care
