Morrisons £6.3 billion?
 

I've recently read that Morrisons is being sold for 6.3 billion quid!:eek: I can remember standing next to my grandmother being served by "young Ken (Morrison)" at the market stall, when he knew her weekly order and how thick to cut her bacon. :shrug: I've also recently read about the owners of Asda who started out just renting a petrol station on an Asda forecourt. Wowser! Right place right time I guess? ;)

Ken's been dead a couple of years now......

Many famous and big names started from humble beggings such as a market stall (Tesco - Cohen) or a small shop. Once out of generational family ownership they seem to get swallowed up and fade away!
