cdti stainless steel manifold
 
hi to all
the last couple of months i have been watching wheeler dealers car
s o s and they had stainless steel exhaust manifolds made for some of the cars they were restoring one was a rover 3.5 and i was wondering would the rover 75 cdti benefit from having one and which firm would be able to make one does anyone know

So it will need to accommodate the Turbo as well, Not much room there.:shrug:

Bearing Iin mind you can't really see it with the bonnet open and I've never heard of anyone having a problem with the standard cast manifolds, I don't think it is worth tooling up for volume production. :}

And you will not get anywhere near the prices that they seem to come up with, a one off manifold sounds very expensive for something no one will see and probably give very little power gain.

Completely pointless really as the manifold is so small and just carries the exhaust gases to the turbo. From then on it's just a single downpipe. Much more beneficial on a naturally aspirated car.
