Rear Silencer strap

Hi all, after getting home last evening with the exhaust literally held off the ground with duct tape, it is apparent that the rear silencer strap has rotted out. Could anyone suggest a reasonably priced source for a replacement?
I know Rimmers have them, but at their prices, it would be as cheap to replace the rear box with an after market item!

Thanks in advance

I used a drilled & bolted metal "patch" to fix the two halves together again. It lasted well, up until l fitted a Klarius backbox recently.
And the Klarius was a lot cheaper than a new strap from Rimmers.

I did the same but the rest of the strap has now dissolved altogether. How well did you find the Klarius box fitted? They are certainly a good price

The Klarius fitted well. The inner support hook needed bending towards the support rubber but apart from that it's fine. A little close to the inner wing but it doesn't seem to be a problem. I bought mine new from a forum member so it was even cheaper.

I only changed as the rear pipe rotted away from the old silencer.

Mine rotted through yesterday, I made a new bottom strap from stainless bar
I take it aftermarket exhausts just use the hangers
The rubbers on mine were an absolute pig to remove with those pips over the ends if the rods
I think I will need a new exhaust in the not too distant future does the rear section normally separate easily from the front section. Was surprised to see its joined by clamps rather than flanges on bolts

Originals were one piece, if you needed a new silencer, it had to be cut.
I used an after market fits all type strap on my stainless.
