Downloadable Calendar?

Anybody know of a good downloadable calendar/organiser that will give notifications of upcoming appointments etc? I thought I'd found one but when I tried to install it both my antivirus and anti malware programs had a fit!

I have an outlook email system in work, and has irritating popups for meetings etc. I very rarely have call to use it, let alone actually use it at all lol. Also I have had a hotmail account for nearly 20 years, and recently I noticed there is a calendar option on it, and looking at it, it appears to be similar to my work one. Try this?

Additionally, if it needs to be partially offline, how about on the phone? My phone has a built in calendar via its alarm clock function. As well as that, I have the outlook app to access my hotmail emails, which I imagine the calendar would also work.

If you use windows, I recall an option for it in the past. Maybe you have it installed via the accessories?

My wife uses an appointments book.

Faster, easier and no electricity needed---:D:D:D

I no longer use my mobile phone, got sick to the back teeth of numerous unsolicited calls every day trying to sell me something etc. Got to the point where I had more blocked numbers than were in my address book! Even if I blocked a number I'd get another call from the same mob using a different number, had enough of it

I don't only have to remember my own appointments but I'm also my other half's secretary!

I use Windows Calendar which comes with Windows Vista which I still use and keep as maintained as possible. I don't know what os you are using but if it is a version of Windows then it might be worth looking to see if you have it installed in the background ... click Start and then type the name into the search box and see if it comes up in the search. If not installed but you are using Windows then it may be something which M$ makes available as an add-on.

Hi,

Try taking the SIM out of your phone to avoid incoming calls and just use the calendar app on the phone?

If connected to (say) Home Wifi you can surf t'interweb and check the Forums too.

Or buy a good old fashioned diary! :D

Good luck

John

Done that already John, just thought it would be useful to have something on the laptop as well.
