BMW E46 wide-screen 16:9
Hello all,
Does the E46 wide-screen Headunit have to be the cassette variant or can you use the CD unit too? If it's the CD version does that mean that you loose the use of the CD multichanger? Thank you Paul |

You don't know any must haves for swapping the rest of a E46 system onto ours? Cheers, Paul |
Mine is cassette type and the menu still scrolls through radio ,tape, CD. you do need the 16.9 tuner as well ;) but its all plug and play
|
The CD player 16:9 requires a BM54 radio module.

Thank you
I've been trawling through the threads on this upgrade...the dust is beginning to settle on them, it seems the majority of people leading them have moved onto other projects.
I have read that the BM54 needed an adapter, were the standard Highline Rover systems all BM24? Not heard from anyone about the I-Bus clock module yet sadly. Duncan I think was the man making those. Allows time ETA on SatNav Cheers Paul |
