I cant recommend anyone local, but we have a very good aircon specialist up in the North of the county should you fancy a trip out.

Search 'cooling pete' on facebook. Think he's based spalding/boston way, and is a really honest chap whos knows his stuff. Came out to me, vacumed out the system, did a leak test and re gassed all for £30.

Then he committed an offence by knowingly recharging a faulty system, obviously not F-Gas registered then!

Probably not, the bigger rub is he serviced my car regassed the air con and wishing a few days it was running warm again took it back and when I returned to collect it that's when he told me it had a leak which he thought was there when he serviced it but did nothing about it because he reckoned he couldn't get the parts  I was not prepared to argue as I was moving from Kent to Lincolnshire that week and I didn't have the time to or inclination to argue or debate it, and he had the cheek to still charge me  never mind onward and upward I have since been advised the system can be repaired. Thanks for reading and replying. Peter
