Handbrake Mod
 

That's me crocked again, I finally got the handbrake compensator out of the car, blimey wrestling with that carpet is the hardest job.

I hammered it back into shape & made a bracket from a piece of 3mm flat bar & welded it in place (many thanks to HarryM1byt & Beinei1) for their great tutorial pics on this modification.:}


The handbrake shoes are in good fettle and were adjusted up til they stopped turning then backed off one notch back until slightly binding on both sides, as you can see by the fully adjusted handbrake nut it made no difference, I could still push the car with the handbrake on full.
the compensator had stretched quite a bit.


Putting it back together will have to wait for another day, My back is crocked & I cant move.

In anticipation of the new car's arrival, got my new wheels, and cleaned them up.

I used Hammerite smooth, my Nephew painted his X5 calipers black some time ago and they have been fine.

yep it is on the large size..but then its a nice large boot :D
pair of 12ins 1000w each i have put amp on rear of box but the amp is not really man enough could use a much more powerful amp to get the pair thumping really well.
came from good old flea bay.....the price!!!!!!!!!!
