TOAF Lead
Hi all :)
Any guidance to what cable I need to buy to connect with TOAF? I have an old OBD2->USB cable (not ELM327) which was used to connect to the old VAG system for many years ago. Can this one be used, or how can I find out? Thanks :) |

So this one will probably work after bridging the two pins?: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-USB-...Cclp%3A2334524 |
I don't know about that one but I can vouch for this one if you bridge the pins.

Ninetynine percent of VAG COM cables sold on eBay originate from China, so if you're prepared to wait a bit longer, you can get then for a fiver or so. If not, don't pay more than a tenner since they all need the Pin 7-8 short applied to make TOAF run properly.

Could nicely interface the LCM and BCU module, but not the engine. Should it be like that? Played a bit with the DRL/automatic lightning. Its now like I want it to be except that the sidelights(parking lights) are not working at all... Any clue? Edit: Seems familiar: https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...light=toaf+drl |
